Environmental Science · Anatomy & Physiology
Everything for class, in one place.
Hilltop Classroom is the online home for Mr. Sajdak's science courses at City Honors School. Students and families can check what we're doing each week, catch up after an absence, and find the tools we use in class.
New here? Start with the weekly schedule — it shows the objective, agenda, and homework for every class period.
Courses
What we're studying
Both courses run on the school's six-day cycle. Each has a full syllabus below; day-to-day plans, objectives, and homework live on the class schedule.

How Earth's systems fit together and what happens when people change them — energy, climate, water, ecosystems, and the trade-offs behind real decisions. Heavy on data, fieldwork, and argument from evidence.
- Systems & cycles
- Energy
- Data analysis
- Fieldwork
Anatomy & Physiology
Structure and function from the cell up to whole body systems, with an emphasis on how the parts work together, how we know what we know, and what goes wrong when a system fails.
- Body systems
- Structure & function
- Lab work
- Case studies
Classroom tools
Things I built for us
Small, free tools for our classroom. No accounts, no sign-ups, nothing to install — just open the link.
Class Schedule
The full weekly plan for every class: cycle day, objective, agenda, homework, and materials. Open to students and families — no password needed. Print any week for a binder or a sub folder.
Open the scheduleAsk Hilltop
A study helper that can answer questions about our units, quiz you before a test, and point you back to the right notes — built to explain, not to do the assignment for you.
Coming later this year.
More tools get added as I build them. If something in class would be easier with a small app, tell me — that's usually where these start.

How to keep up with class
Check the schedule
The class schedule shows what we did and what's assigned, week by week. It's the fastest way to catch up after an absence — no login required.
Watch for graded work
Grades, missing assignments, and official announcements stay in the district's systems. This site is for course information and resources, not for grades or student records.
Reach out early
If something isn't clicking, the best time to say so is before the test. Email or text me — details are just below.
A note on privacy. Hilltop Classroom is my own site, not an official City Honors or Buffalo Public Schools page. It never contains student names, grades, photos, or any other student information — only course materials and general classroom information.
